Overlooking a panoramic vista of the beautiful Hauraki Gulf the brand new Wai (water) Kitchen sits nestled in the heart of the township of Oneroa on Waiheke Island.

On offer is something for all tastes, whether it simply be a homemade pastry alongside an expertly made Three beans Organic Fair Trade Coffee or freshly squeezed juice, or a beautifully cooked meal accompanied by a glass of one our excellent local wines.The decor is funky and comfortable and features natural, warm finishes inspired by the surrounding seascape and island.

Proprietors, husband and wife team, Steve and Sarah Vanderput also own the award winning cafes Teed Street Larder in Newmarket, Toru in Ponsonby and Scullery in K'Road as well as Scratch Bakery and are passionate about great food and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for all their guests.

Wai Kitchen is a 20 minute walk or a five minute bus ride from the ferry from downtown Auckland arriving at Matiatia.
